Venessa Strachan

Venessa Strachan graduated from Baruch College with a degree in Journalism. She recieved her Master of Fine Arts at Cornell University where she lectured incoming freshman and taught creative writing workshops. She continued teaching in Newark, New Jersey, instructing 5th grade students in Math and English Language Arts. She has since worked as a 3rd grade lead teacher and is excited to bring her wealth of life experiences to The Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem!
