Stephanie Hubbell graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Disorders from San Diego State University and earned a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders at Emerson College in Boston. Prior to joining the staff at The Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem, Ms. Hubbell worked in the field of autism education as both an in-home ABA therapist and a school-based social skills facilitator. She also served as a special education Peace Corps Volunteer in Jordan, where she gained an appreciation for cross-cultural collaboration. Ms. Hubbell loves being a SLP because she appreciates watching students begin to communicate more effectively, with new people, and across new situations. She likes to push herself professionally, and is constantly exploring new interventions and methodologies to maximize student learning and engagement!
