Luis Santana earned a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland. Mr. Santana was born Santiago, Dominican Republic but moved to New York state when he was eight years old. He began his teaching career as an Academic Intervention Services instructor in mathematics for first grade students. Subsequently, Mr. Santana worked as an English language teacher in Sampran, Thailand. Santana believes that multiculturalism, diversity, and tolerance are very important to a successful community. He looks forward to contributing his perspective to NCSH.
