Grisleydi Torres earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Humanities Justice Studies with a minor in Philosophy from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education with a Bilingual extension at Hunter College. After many years of working in finance, Grisleydi decided to pursue her passion to educate, inspire, and support children to reach their full potential. In the past, Grisleydi worked as a mentor for students in high risk communities and instructed a developmental course at Hunter College. Grisleydi is excited to pursue her passion for education with the scholars and parents of The Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem. She believes that education is the path to a brighter tomorrow.
