Naureen Kheraj, a native of Houston, Texas, recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Political Science. While in Chicago, Naureen worked at Chicago Public Schools' Office of Social and Emotional Learning as a policy intern and at the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research as a research assistant. She also has experience tutoring first and third grade students.
At the network, Naureen works on various projects to ensure the growth and success of Neighborhood Charter School: Harlem, while also assisting with the creation and establishment of Neighborhood Charter School: Bronx. Some of her projects include: regularly tracking and analyzing student achievement data to inform school policies and interventions, managing our website, assisting the Board of Trustees with their projects and events, and regularly coordinating with school-based leadership to assist as needed. Outside of work, Naureen is (slowly) learning how to cook and is an avid news junkie. She is based at our Northwest campus.
